perhaps the hardest baby blanket....

... of all time...

i have been working on a baby shower gift for the past ... um... maybe since i posted last... it is entrelac... it is a debbie bliss pattern... from her magazine... and it could possibly be the most difficult baby project i've ever undertaken. I am totally not a fan of the instructions - that might just be me... i've been to the LYS twice for direction on the directions. I am rounding on the last row of full blocks.. and then need a row of triangles and the edging - and it needs be done by the weekend upcoming....

... so in a nutshell, that is where i've been - sitting knitting - not doing a lot on line in general, since this is not a "knit and surf" project. It is a labor of love and I do not begrudge one single moment of knitting it - it is a gift for a very special person - but i will say it has certainly ... CERTAINLY... taken my concentration to a new level.
