told you i would!

so i am back... two days running.. bet i have lost whatever momentum i might've had previously.  But i have news!

I am heading into the city tonite to see Irena's Vow with Tovah Feldshuh, in limited engagement down at the Baruch Performance Center on 25th and lex.  I am ready to see something again - having done a bunch of musicals of late and ready for a straight play.  Sounds interesting and I love watching TF perform - she totally immerses and IS the person she plays... I am finding i love that in actors (can you say Lucas North?)

I've found out that the baby to be is a girl.. so now i will do my magic and try to get a sweater going ... lol and you all can see how well i am doing with knitting these days.  I will attempt my best...

... tv - have you watched the wonder that is Spooks/MI5 this season?  Have you not somehow been sucked in?  The series is back to one-offs but still carries a thread throughout.. Lucas North (RA come on you know it) has been returned from 8 years in a Russian prison.  He's been tortured - physically and mentally by those people who would have information from him.  He is damaged in some ways we have not been privvy to yet... in some ways the tip of the iceberg is just showing. ... do yourself a favor and if you are able - watch it on Monday nights.  if you are not legally able... work on it... there is a wink there you just can't see it.  it is massively good.. massively well written and superbly acted.  Just do it, willya??

music.. today i take a break from music in favor of the above TV program.  Want a taste? Want to "wet your beak?" Go and watch the fan vids here.... and you decide.  You are not even allowed to see or hear the tight dialogue or suspense the actual directors provide ... do it, you won't be sorry...
