SHEESH! I forgot to tell you...

... I got to see 33 Variations at the Eugene O'Neill Theater last week.  hmmm who is in that you ask?  Colin Hanks.. Samantha Mathis... Zach Grenier... oh yes.. Jane Fonda... .. heh heh heh...

There is a pianist who is wonderful - all the music is provided by her - and the score is by .. Ludwig von Beethoven.... 

i am not a critic nor do i play one on tv.  i enjoy the entertainment for entertainment's sake.  i liked the show. i sit in my seat and let myself get carried away witht eh movement of the actors.. what they say and how they say it.  i will leave the critical nasty comments to others.. These actors  showed up day after day, learned their lines and were there to perform something that i enjoyed watching.. the end.

Did a Stage Door Johnny- met most of the cast except for ms. mathis... she snuck out the other way.. lol met ms. fonda.. had a quick two minute about why anyone would make a black playbill cover and that she thought her father would be happy she was on broadway .. to which i replied.. he is.. which i believe.. we just can't hear him saying it...

And.. frankly i don't blame you.  I've not posted in.. what.. two weeks? well that is what 14 days is.. no?

I am happy to say i have sent two pairs of soldier socks off to their dying vat.  I have another pair beyond the gussets (well second sock JUST beyond the gusset) and i have finished a baby sweater in the mean time.  I've dropped down to knitting the gussets with a 00 needle to see if they wind up narrower.  I can't get lower than that, now can i?  well yes i know i can, but sheesh!

I have been practicing with Photoshop as well - preparatory for maybe purchasing cs4 - not sure yet but you have to know me.. if it is available.. i will get it.. lmao

i've also learned how to do video clips for friends in order for them to do videos without having to rip so many clips.... and oofa they are .... so yay!  there was the lovely valentine to the man of the hour that spikesbint did - that i linked to in the previous post.. and the fun and wonder that also shows the man to his best in the Womanizer Vid linked to there.. Heathra and Spikesbint are two of my favorite vidders.. and two of my favorite friends ...

two more pairs of socks done.. in the washer.. then in the mail.. yes i will photograph them.. sheesh.. LMAO - i've cast on another pair yes i have a roonie.. but also a baby sweater i need to switch off with this time.. 

photos otherwise are a bit scarce.. but i will work on that.. the weather has chased away the snow.. so that in itself is a reason to celebrate!!!

i have been mia.. i know that.. i am in need of someone to pull the boulders from my shoulders.. (poetry??? i think not)..   

i have been knitting socks - finished one pair and have the heels and heel cups done on a second pair.. picked up and gussets on one and picked up on the other - well 2/3 that is.. i am getting there.. i have a pair of drop dead fingerless mitts waiting for me.. after these two pairs of socks i will do one thing in alternate for me.

i want it to come back and be as it was.  and that ain't happening.. why look for what you can't have?  Why cry over spilt milk?  Because it was the milk you wanted and it was your milk....
