its a new year

by two whole days and i didn't post... well now i have...been ill.. am ill... will live i suppose but don't much feel like sitting at the desktop....

... have scads of new memory in the computer.. have lots of stuff to do.. am i doing any of it? a clue.. no..

... have knit almost an entire pair of soldier socks since christmas... team knit of course but i have almost finished both feet. they will be a men's medium size in a green that i am not sure if they should need dying or not... but they are what i have and what i will work on until the team knit legs run out. then i will buy more yarn but not before. i want this yarn on soldiers' feet first.

music? i have not listened to much music over the past few days.. james taylor's auld lang syne is the only thing that comes to mind.. now.. will i remember how to make the link open in a new window/tab? hmm can an old dog REALLY be taught new tricks?*
